What a source can establish

Valve documentation supports statements about its documented rules and products. It does not independently establish market share, typical player experiences, or commercial outcomes. Historical reporting is read in its own time; today’s documentation is not projected backward onto earlier rules.

Dates that mean something

Guide review dates record an editorial check. They are separate from announcement dates, effective dates, and historical events. A spelling fix does not justify presenting a page as a new development. The current edition is an initial snapshot; recurring monitoring has not been scheduled.

Corrections and uncertainty

When a claim cannot be supported, it is qualified or withheld. Substantive corrections should describe what changed and retain the original event date in the revision record. No monitored contact inbox is claimed for this edition.

Editorial attribution
